JOIN OUR TEAM AND HELP LEAD WITH CARE, COMPASSION AND COMMITMENT!
St. Joseph's Care Group is expanding care capacity at Hogarth Riverview Manor to better meet the needs of our community. As part of this expansion, our current Willow and Cedar units will transition from their transitional care bed state to long-term care beds by fall 2026. This change will support increased resident capacity and has resulted in the creation of the following new position postings.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Hogarth Riverview Manor is seeking compassionate and dedicated professionals to join our team at one of Ontario's largest long-term care homes. Our home is committed to people-centered care, respecting individual needs, cultural traditions, and lifestyles. Our staff works collaboratively with residents to promote independence and well-being, supporting them in achieving their highest level of self-care. Join us in delivering exceptional care in a modern facility designed to maximize comfort, engagement, and quality of life for our residents.
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) is responsible for assessing residents, developing a plan of care, implementing treatments and evaluating the outcomes, in consultation with the resident/Substitute Decision Maker (SDM) and other health professionals, in accordance with the Standards of Practice for the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and current Long-Term Care Legislation. The extent to which the RPN carries out these components of practice is determined by the complexity of the resident’s condition including the predictability of the outcome for the resident; the knowledge, skill and judgment required to assess for and deal with the risks involved; and the resources (human and otherwise) available in the environment for collaboration and/or assistance.
HIRING DEADLINE: MAY 28, 2026
