JOIN OUR TEAM AND HELP LEAD WITH CARE, COMPASSION AND COMMITMENT!
ABOUT THE ROLE
Bethammi Nursing Home is seeking compassionate and dedicated staff to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. Our home-like environment features spacious communal areas, a variety of amenities, and beautiful outdoor spaces. Join us in delivering people-centred care that reflects our values of care, compassion, and commitment in a safe and secure setting.
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) is responsible for assessing residents, developing a plan of care, implementing treatments and evaluating the outcomes, in consultation with the resident/Substitute Decision Maker (SDM) and other health professionals, in accordance with the Standards of Practice for the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and current Long-Term Care Legislation. The extent to which the RPN carries out these components of practice is determined by the complexity of the resident’s condition including the predictability of the outcome for the resident; the knowledge, skill and judgment required to assess for and deal with the risks involved; and the resources (human and otherwise) available in the environment for collaboration and/or assistance.
This posting is for an existing vacancy within the organization.
